About us
Centre for Youth Work is citizens association that has been working
in the field of professional, systematic and planned youth work
in Republic of Serbia from 2001 with the aim of community development
in general. CZOR recognizes young people as a valuable resource
of our society and as equal partner in local community development.
CZOR as a resource organization
has realized its activities on the territory of Republic of Serbia,
as well as, through partner projects realized in Balkan region
and outside of it.
Executive board of CZOR consists of 7 persons, different social
groups representatives who support the work of the organisation
(representatives of educational institution, business sector,
parents, volunteers and community youth work experts).
The most specific for CZOR is
that most of employees and associates engaged in variety of projects,
posses diploma or different levelled certificates in community
youth work. 78 volunteers, age range from 15 to 35, are contributing
to overall success of the organization.
Vision
CZOR believes that young men and women are socially competent
for personal development and have equal opportunities to contribute
towards democracy and justice in society, where their voice,
rights and needs are acknowledged and recognised at all levels.
Mission
CZOR’s mission is development,
implementation and promotion of community youth work and youth
policy with aim to improve status of young men and women, through
educational programs focused on their personal and social development,
as well as their active participation in the society.
To accomplish its vision and mission,
CZOR works on three strategic directions:
1. conducting educational programmes
2. direct youth work
3. youth advocacy – youth policy
Organization works with young
people, civic organisation and governmental bodies using integrative
developmental approach through strategic directions that are already
mentioned above.The goals are accomplished through:
- Educational programme- Bachelor in Developmental Community Youth
Work (CYW)
- Educational programme for Youth Leaders
- Educational programme for all subjects that develop and implement

- Partnership programme of social acknowledgment and recognition
